Howell Marine Consulting (HMC) are looking for a Research Programme Manager to lead on the programme management of two leading UKRI research programmes (ECOWind and INSITE) and to develop new opportunities working with the marine policy and research community in the UK and globally.
You will play a key role in the delivery of programmes that are instrumental to the UK’s net zero and biodiversity ambitions. You will be working with leading researchers and policy makers, coordinating and managing activities to achieve research goals and deliver critical impact to help shape future marine policy and delivery.

We are experts in the practical application of academic research to marine management and have significant experience working with government, its agencies and the research councils to ensure that marine science has maximum impact.
HMC is a 100% remote working company and we operate a supportive working environment and hold regular in-person team meetings. The role will be UK home based but we prefer staff to be in the North East or South Coast of England. We provide a work laptop, phone, and necessary equipment to establish a comfortable workspace.
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be within the salary range of £40,000 – £50,000.
