Strategic Advisor on Round 4 Offshore Wind

HMC provided strategic advice to the Crown Estate on Round 4 offshore wind delivery in the UK. This has included many streams of work including:

• Supporting the establishment of the Offshore Wind Evidence and Change Programme with the aim of increasing the available knowledge and evidence to support sustainable and coordinated expansion of offshore wind, thereby achieving net zero carbon emission in line with UK government policy.
• Stakeholder and policy mapping
• Strategic assessment of the policy and delivery landscape, and specifically policy interactions associated with the delivery of Net Zero offshore
• Chairing the Round 4 Habitats Regulations Assessment Expert Working Group and providing strategic advice on the delivery of environmental assessment, mitigation and compensation associated with the Round 4 plan.
