HMC is growing and we need a dedicated person to ensure our operations and processes are working efficiently now and in the coming years. We are looking for an individual with excellent organisational, and people skills, who is tech-savvy and familiar with business administration and finance.
The Business Operations Manager will play a leading role in enabling our technical staff to deliver projects and programmes instrumental to the UK’s net zero and biodiversity goals, global sustainable development, and shaping future marine policy and delivery. This requires that the business processes and policies are working efficiently and can evolve over time to enable HMC’s growth ambitions, so we can continue to deliver excellence for for our clients.
Howell Marine Consulting (HMC) is at the forefront of the transition to a sustainable blue future. With a track record of delivering high-profile projects nationally and globally, we simplify the complexity associated with the management of our marine space to help clients achieve meaningful, positive change. We are experts in the practical application of academic research to marine management and have significant experience working with governments, international development institutions, and the research community to ensure that marine science has maximum impact.
HMC is a 100% remote working company and we operate a supportive working environment and hold regular in-person team meetings. The role will be UK home based but we prefer staff to be in the North East or South Coast of England. We provide a work laptop, phone, and necessary equipment to establish a comfortable workspace.
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be within the salary range of £35,000 – £45,000.
